The Step Up programme is great opportunity for our young students to play and learn together outside of their normal school lessons. The Step Up programme delivers exciting and engaging sessions in a relaxed Saturday environment, which focus on the literacy and numeracy skills needed for success in GCSEs. The job of the Heroes will be to work in sessions with the young students, building relationships and helping them engage whilst assisting with the day-to-day running of the programme. As well as being a great opportunity to mentor and guide our younger pupils, being a Step-Up Hero will is also a fantastic opportunity to develop your teamwork and leadership skills. You will be given responsibility for making this project and success and it will be a great thing to add to your CV or mention at interviews for future workplaces or further education. |
